Gault&Millau's review 2026

This is the region's new "table belle", the one all Charentais need to know about, to encourage and support Laura Legeay and Mickaël Clautour's project. The young chef has returned to his native region, having first worked with Richard Toix in Poitiers, and then travelled to various destinations with his partner, including Australia and Hong Kong. Before realizing their project, they were most recently at Les Sources de Fontbelle. From these various experiences, Mickael has learned rigor on very good foundations, and shares his knowledge of local products with a network of good suppliers built with relevance. The menus are hidden, renewed every two months, at €65 and €90 in four or six courses. The decor is pretty and sober, and the cellar is growing with time.
