Chef's Restaurant On the outskirts of Angoulême, in a verdant setting, Érick Boux maintains this well-known local establishment, supported by his wife Sandrine. The table is maintained around a fine gastronomic cuisine, reflecting the greed and intelligence of the chef, capable of executing a constantly renewed idea, with irreproachable savoir-faire. The €57 menu offers good value for money, with a sphere of shrimp stuffed with squid ink, creamy herbs and sage fritters, a pavé of maigre sauvage, confit vegetables and yuzu beurre blanc, a filet of Limousin beef, mustard carrots, grenailles from the Ile de Ré and shallot jus, a round of citrus fruits and yuzu butter. Well-equipped cellar.
