It's a little tour of gourmet Brittany that awaits you in this pretty house, where Marion Denieul's sense of welcome is embodied with ease and sincerity. On the table, a map of the region lists the main producers who inspire Baptiste's creativity with a short menu focusing mainly on plants and the maritime world. The dishes, which are particularly well arranged, are to the point and to the point. For example, these magnificent langoustines are gently cooked to preserve all their delicacy. They are carried by a well-balanced aioli of pickled fennel. A perfect reduction of langoustines with verbena and Breton saffron can then be poured over it. Next, roasted monkfish is freshly accompanied by glazed peas and shallots. As for the subtle sauce with marine accents, made with butter and flavored with Kari Gosse, it's as gourmet as it gets. The Morbihan pigeon is presented in a classic form that reveals all its qualities. A well-characterized gravy and some cereal-flavored chard provide the essential ingredients. Consensual and delightful, the hot almond and thyme soufflé topped with almond nougatine is served with a delicate custard. Friendly, attentive service. Reading the wine list (a few pages wrinkled), we're on familiar ground, but the references are qualitative and consistent with the cuisine.
