Gault&Millau's review2025
A well-kept Alsatian house, where blue goes well with half-timbering. Romain Hertrich, the chef, and Romain Lambert, the sommelier, get along perfectly to provide an interesting experience and pleasure at the table. The dishes are pretty, graphic and modern, using fresh seasonal market produce. The €37.50 menu is a very good choice, with a preference for local dishes such as white asparagus with bulgur salad, leg of lamb from Alsace or veal with bulgur, dried fruit and barley miso jus. A three-glass wine and food pairing is a good option at €17, as the cellar is full of finds both inside and outside the region (all the great names from Alsace, but also Père Benoît or Mas des Chimères in Languedoc, Gonon or Emmanuel Darnaud in Rhône...).
