Gault&Millau's review 2025

This hotel stands out first and foremost for its location in the heart of Kaysersberg, one of the most beautiful villages in Alsace, with its half-timbered houses and flower-filled balconies. A member of Relais & Châteaux, this 5-star hotel underwent a facelift in 2021, making it one of the most charming retreats in France today. Housed in an 18th-century mansion, the 33 rooms and suites offer contemporary elegance with natural materials and light colors, antique furniture, and carefully selected works of art. The wellness area features a heated indoor pool, a jacuzzi, a hammam, and a sauna, all opening onto a terrace with views of the vineyards. As for the rest, nothing has changed—and that’s great news for food lovers, who will find the delights of “La Table d’Olivier Nasti,” the gourmet restaurant, and the traditional winstub still intact, both helmed by chef and owner Olivier Nasti, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France.
