Remarkable Restaurant Mavrommatis is quite simply THE Hellenic reference in Paris, embodying Greek gastronomy for over thirty years. The Censier-Daubenton station address is the capital of a vast kingdom, where the pleasures of home are available in boutique. At the table, an ethereal atmosphere, with chic, uncluttered lines in shades of cream and gray, in which the delicacies of the peninsula shine with color; a ghemista of morels, langoustine and Sault spelt like a risotto, a bear garlic kefir emulsion, a petimezi-lacquered st. pierre, coque-artichoke-anchovy, iodized cardamom and Timur berry juice, a farm quail marinated in vine leaves, keftédès with Cretan snails, white asparagus, morels, roasted buckwheat, honey-cinnamon berry juice. Last but not least, Aegina pistachio tart, poached rhubarb, coconut sorbet and rhubarb juice, Taïnori ganache with Kalamata olives, chocolate and basil cream, orange blossom ice cream. Excellent selection of Greek wines.
