Chef's Restaurant An important address in the Nordic landscape, with a name of distant repute, today in the heart of Vieux-Lille, with contemporary architecture blended into a more traditional decor. The same can be said for the work of chef Mathieu Boutroy, who brings a modern twist to the great classics of French cuisine, adding his own personality, sharpness and sensitivity, with the aim of ensuring that customers never get bored for a second. The Parisian-style salmon is the best example, with its well-mastered touches of citrus, as is the sourcing of vegetables with their powerful flavors, imaginative fish and meat dishes, and homemade juices and sauces that are always subtle. The €59 Privilège menu is a great way to start the meal, and the €109 Discovery menu is perfect, with langoustine and rhubarb, sea bass with morel mushrooms or lamb, onions and chorizo before red bell pepper and raspberry for dessert. On the first floor, the brasserie completes the overall offering, while the bar offers a magical view of the verdant park and Flemish buildings. Good selection in the cellar.
