Chef's Restaurant Damien Laforce is one of the agglomeration's finest talents, and his adventure is just beginning. Three years after its opening, this ++ bistro is maturing, living up to its ambitions, and is clearly aiming for an additional chef's hat. Like many of his colleagues, he is tightening up his offer around a single menu, with a choice of 5 to 7 courses, depending on the number of courses, and a lunch offer at €39. And there's plenty of talent to be found in this well-controlled parade of vegetal and seafood dishes (hollandaise peas with mint and lovage faisselle, barbecued tuna, pollack with spinach and beurre blanc carrot...), where the epicurean will find his bearings, especially if he goes as far as the "7-course" pigeon with chanterelle mushrooms. The atmosphere is very Lille, friendly and relaxed, with service always ready to offer advice, and a cellar full of ideas and discoveries.
