Sponsored On Saumur's Ile d'Offard, in the heart of the "Entre les ponts" district, Thierry Coulais, a former salesman undergoing retraining, bought Le Bouche à Oreille restaurant in August 2023. Together with his chef, Vincent Malgouires, he offers traditional, local cuisine made with fresh, local, seasonal produce. On the menu: comforting, homemade winter dishes such as butternut velouté, vegetable soup, scallops, beef collar and coq au vin. As for desserts, the Chef innovates with, for example, his chocolate sweet potato moelleux and his choux pâtissiers, while offering local specialties such as crémet d'Anjou. Thierry Coulais and his Chef work exclusively from the slate, with a choice of 3 starters, 3 main courses, 1 cheese and 2 desserts. Open all year round (except vacations), Le Bouche à Oreille has kept its bistro spirit and decor. The restaurant ups the ante at weekends. On sunny days, local and tourist customers enjoy the terrace and appreciate the restaurant's accessibility.
