Prestige Hotel We come here for the breathtaking view of the river and the sumptuous Château de Saumur... We discover the charm of this 18th-century mansion, which has preserved its listed facade and staircase topped with a trompe-l'œil ceiling. But here, the imprint of the past is in no way imposing, and in no way hinders comfort and conviviality. The proof is in the 41 bright rooms, which combine antique furniture with... the latest bedding. The hotel doesn't offer a restaurant, but the owners have entered into a partnership with l'Essentiel, a local eatery that backs onto the manor house. As for the delicious breakfast, it will be served on the manor's patio, which extends into a heated swimming pool with the castle's high towers as a backdrop.
