Close to the castles of Montsoreau and Saumur and the Abbey of Fontevraud, this 17th-century residence clinging to the cliffs overlooking the river is an unusual stopover for a family discovery of the Loire Valley. The 2-hectare estate features 11 bedrooms (including 4 in 12th-century troglodytic cellars) and a fully equipped apartment. The cellars also house an apartment, a seminar room, a fitness room and a swimming pool dug into the white tuffeau rock and heated to 28°C, summer and winter alike... A wonderful interlude of calm and serenity after a day's sightseeing.
