Gault&Millau's review 2025

Set overlooking the river, in the heart of the town of Montsoreau, this address was designed by Caroline Chagnard, who elegantly decorated the 11 rooms and suites opening onto the Loire or the garden, as well as 4 guesthouses. Inspired by the poetry of the local landscapes, each takes up a singular theme. The "Vendange" celebrates the vineyards with a mix of linen, ochre and wicker shades, the "Reflets" evokes the dazzling skies of the Loire Valley, and the "Marinier" reflects the world of the sea... Warm communal spaces, a garden overrun with flowers, a restaurant featuring regional products, an indoor swimming pool and a 300 m2 Cinq Mondes spa complete the charm of this residence which artfully combines simplicity and refinement.
