Chef's Restaurant Nothing has changed for this legendary Amphitryon (where Jean-Paul Abadie was Cook of the Year in 2004), opposite the Décathlon shopping center in Lorient. You can still enjoy a fine meal here, thanks to Olivier Beurné and Anthony Rault in the dining room, who knows the place so well. The large asparagus from La Torche is well presented with a brunoise of radish and a hollandaise emulsion; the saint-pierre replaces the whiting with a subtle and well-balanced creamy pepper emulsion, slightly candied red onions, and a roll of celery millefeuille; the chocolate arabica voile cacao is a step down in a service that is nonetheless very professional, with a limited offer, but a chef who knows how to marry flavors and a good technique. The cellar is also tight, with good advice from the owner.
