Gault&Millau's review 2025

One of the city's historic addresses, built in the 1920s and witness to the great sea-bathing vogue of the time. Restored in 2020, Le Celtique has retained the Art Deco spirit of its origins, now blended with a more contemporary refinement, with 53 rooms decorated with blond wood furniture, soft tones and beautiful sea views. It's a warm, comfortable refuge, but the main reason people come here is for the remarkable quality of the spa. Some 650 m2 with 7 treatment rooms, an indoor pool and a Japanese sauna, not to mention a program of top-of-the-range treatments by Breton brand Phytomer. Perfectly rejuvenated, all that's left to do is head to the restaurant to sample the seasonal, ocean-inspired cuisine of executive chef Florent Gérardin. A special mention for the warm welcome extended to children, who are even entitled to their own range of spa treatments.
