Sponsored Franck has been traveling to Sri Lanka, the land of his ancestors, ever since he was a child. Very attached to his family and passionate about cooking, the young man is hyperactive, full of energy and ideas. The result is Au Rocher du Lion, the only Sri Lankan restaurant in Metz. His recipe for success? Franck Antony has drawn on his family history and the recipes of his ancestors to create typical dishes, revisited and adapted to French tastes. A challenge masterfully met by Franck and his Chef, who sublimate the great Sri Lankan classics. In the cosy, wood-panelled dining room, gourmets in search of an escape flock to sample the fragrant, spicier dishes. A true culinary escapade, like the Lion Heureux version bœuf bourguignon, rice cooked in beef jus. And what about Kottu Roti, chopped patties mixed with vegetables and meat? A balance of flavors, just the right amount of cooking, a hint of spice and plenty of pep... Dishes that the Chef offers in vegan and vegetarian versions on request. On the sweet side, let's mention the Lion dessert, a fresh coconut and pistachio sorbet. A delicious journey at an affordable price!
