Prestige Hotel Situated on Mirepoix's medieval town square, this beautiful residence is first and foremost a lesson in history... La Maison des Consuls was built in the aftermath of the Hundred Years' War and restored in 1664 after a fire that miraculously preserved the beautiful facade we admire today. Inside, each of the 9 rooms retains the same 17th-century inspiration, with antique furniture selected from local antique dealers, and all enhanced by contemporary comforts, including luxurious bedding, sober materials and spacious bathrooms. This contemporary spirit is also reflected in the owners' eco-responsible approach to water and energy management, and their preference for local artisans and producers, notably for the delicious cheese and charcuterie platters served at the Les Raisins de Pyrène bar or on the house terrace.
