Gault&Millau's review 2025

Designed in 1928 by Henri Sauvage, the legendary Samaritaine building was brought back to life in September 2021, following a six-year construction project. After Courchevel, Saint-Tropez, Saint-Barth, Randheli and Courchevel, the Cheval Blanc brand (LVMH Group) unveiled its first "urban home". And what a house it was! This totally exclusive 21st-century palace was designed by American architect Peter Marino. It boasts 72 rooms and suites of unprecedented luxury (45 m2 for the smallest surface), an oversized lobby and corridors, a 30 m-long swimming pool, a sumptuous Dior spa and, of course, the most spectacular views in Paris - the Seine and the Left Bank... Three restaurants, designed for travelers as much as for Parisians. La table Plénitude, on the second floor, orchestrated by Arnaud Donckele; Le Tout-Paris, on the seventh floor, which aims to restore the Parisian brasserie concept to its former glory; and, finally, La Langosteria, with its transalpine recipes, which can be enjoyed on THE most beautiful terrace in Paris.
