Gault&Millau's review2025
In the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, this address, housed in a 17th-century private mansion, is attracting a growing number of loyal guests, seduced by its historic charm, with its mix of parquet flooring, exposed beams, Burgundy stone fireplace and Aubusson tapestry... But here, respect for the place in no way detracts from the ambient dynamism. The 50 rooms and suites (some of which are duplexes for families) have been redesigned and decorated by the Double G agency, which has distilled a few welcome contemporary touches here and there - sober, elegant wallpaper, armchairs and fabrics in fresh tones. Since 2018, the hotel boasts one of the finest spas in Paris, with sauna, hammam, fitness area, treatment room and, above all, a 20 m long swimming pool that will delight the most demanding swimmers. Add to this a shaded patio and the Café Laurent, which attracts Parisians with its ultra-sharp jazz evenings, and you have one of the capital's most desirable venues.
