The color is raspberry with salmon and copper highlights. Fine bubbles form a dense, lightly colored mousse. Pinots add fruit (raspberry, redcurrant, wild strawberry) and floral notes (freesia, hawthorn, peony). The nose is attractive and deep, with a hint of minerality and white pepper on aeration. The creaminess of the robe is echoed on the palate, with a fleshy, unctuous texture based on red fruit flavors and a hint of cherry, awakened on the finish by a fresh touch of mint. Good length.
