Billed as Champagne's greatest vintage, this 2002 confirms it, particularly in terms of the ripeness of the grapes. The brilliant pale-gold appearance is enhanced by magnificent fine bubbles. The cordon offers a persistent creaminess. On the nose, it's all about pleasure: a patchwork of white fruit scents, roasted brioche and a hint of aniseed. On the palate, the fragrance transforms into a silky flavor that bursts with power. We've reached new heights with this great champagne. Enjoy it as an aperitif on special occasions, with Bresse poultry with morel mushrooms.
