Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
The fifth generation of winemakers is now at the helm of Maison Marguet, led by Benoît, who practices biodynamic viticulture. The estate produces wine from the family’s own vineyards (7.3 hectares in Ambonnay and 0.7 hectares in Bouzy) as well as those of certified organic partner growers located in Cumières, Mesnil-sur-Oger, and Cramant. With soil cultivation using draft horses, plot-by-plot winemaking, and the use of sulfites only when necessary, the estate emphasizes respect for living organisms and natural energies. The wines are magnificent and deserve the attention of wine enthusiasts.
