Superb! This grand cru has the savory, racy, distinguished expression we've come to know, with the added touch of the great 2008 vintage. The gold color is brilliant and limpid. The nose is complex, combining notes of mirabelle plum, blond tobacco, traces of rhubarb and lemongrass, followed by a palate combining power and purity. Roundness and length. The bubbles are to the millimeter. This is a great champagne, ready to be enjoyed now, and undoubtedly a real gem for those who can wait.
