The color is old gold with amber-bronze highlights. A sense of depth emanates from the subtle nose, with its mix of vine peach, poached pineapple, pear and mirabelle plum, followed by notes of truffle essence and the powerful scents of candied lemon and tangerine liqueur. The mineral palate blends spicy, ripe fruit flavors with hints of vanilla bean and saffron. A mealtime Champagne, it will sublimate a Challans duck with mirabelle plums or a farm capon à la périgourdine.
