Clear color and fine bubbles for this elegantly presented 2010. The grapes come from the center of the village of Mailly, giving a touch of yellow fruit and fresh grapes to this wine still in its prime. Creamy and juicy with exotic fruit, it shows great potential for fine, upright Pinot Noir. L'Intemporelle lives up to its name and reveals itself after many years in the cellar.

This cooperative, founded in 1929, is unique in that it only accepts grapes from the Mailly grand cru (where the chardonnays pinot and the pinots chardonnent), in the heart of the Reims mountains, from some 70 ha. All cuvées are grand cru. The champagnes are generally full-bodied and dense, with excellent definition of fruit. Undoubtedly the best cooperative winery in the region, this house is committed to an interesting parcel-based approach, with some 35 lieux-dits. On-site tastings are available.
