This is the ultimate expression of the cru: it needs time to reveal all its finesse and complexity. At almost 30 years of age, this brilliant gold champagne has a nose of rare complexity, with notes of toast, toasted bread, yellow and white fruits, dried fruits and a touch of fresh After Eight. On the palate, the wine is perfectly creamy, with pastry and pineapple flavors. Evolving beautifully and retaining a youthful freshness, this champagne illustrates the greatness of the Pinots from the village of Mailly. Superb.
