Located between Mulhouse and Colmar, this is the familiar, gourmet Alsace we love. Matthieu Koenig keeps the spirit alive at this family-run inn, which embodies traditional values—reflected in a straightforward, gourmet menu that still features a few modern twists: yuzu-marinated salmon with cauliflower mousseline, slow-cooked trout fillet with a lightly smoked trout “knack,” crisp fresh sauerkraut, roasted veal sweetbreads, Sardinian fregola risotto with oyster mushrooms, bacon bits, and sage, Parmesan sauce… A great “Discovery” menu for €46, plus classic desserts.
