Sponsored Close to the Marcel Deflandre stadium, a 20-minute walk from La Rochelle's old port, Marion and Mauricio Badino have just taken over this hotel-restaurant with its warm ambience. Their culinary travel experiences led the couple to imagine a fusion cuisine that is both Mediterranean and South American. While they import certain dishes from Argentina, they also sublimate fish from the La Rochelle fish market, French meats and local fruit and vegetables. For example, Mauricio prepares seasonal empanadas in crispy puff pastry with a sauce of his own creation, Argentine meat marinated with a blend of South American spices (el aji molido): these marvelous flavors will enchant your taste buds in the dining room or on the terrace! Through his dulce de leche flan, a childhood memory, Mauricio passes on a piece of his native Argentina... A wonderful discovery!
