Gault&Millau's review 2025

Located on the old port of La Rochelle, this new refuge is the third address for the eponymous decorating brand (associated with the Vicartem group), which is consolidating its position in the world of hospitality. And so much the better for lovers of cosy, elegant places inspired by travel and modernity. The welcome is digitalized, but the hotel is very warm, with a lounge with deep sofas, a breakfast room designed as a large family kitchen where you can enjoy delicious breakfasts, not forgetting the magnificent Sunday morning brunch and gourmet jars to heat up. The rooms are in the same spirit, with a choice of Indian, Italian or Viennese-inspired decor, all with palatial bedding and beautiful views over the port and the old town, especially from the junior suite with its terrace.
