Chef's Restaurant
This stunning wine-tourism complex in a prime Cognac region offers a high-end vacation experience. After the previous chef left the kitchen in the middle of summer, Fröde Torset—who previously ran the Distillerie, the property’s second restaurant—took over. The restaurant thus maintains a consistent approach with a concise menu and well-defined, evolving dishes—no à la carte options: oysters and sturgeon in tempura and gravlax with sake beurre blanc, lamb prepared two ways with goat cheese and artichokes in a Timut pepper sauce, and a variety of apricot dishes with meadowsweet cream in the first Signature menu priced at €80. The wine and spirits list is, naturally, well-stocked, featuring wines from the merchant’s selection and fine labels.
