Description
Sponsored Taken over in 2021 by Raphaël, Matias and Jordan (the chef), Le Charollais is a renowned motel with 20 rooms (17 to 22m2, €65 to €85) with private entrances and country-style decor. They overlook the swimming pool or the 3-hectare park, which includes a lake. Tourists and sales reps appreciate this relaxing setting in southern Burgundy. Breakfast (€10), based on local produce, is copious and served as a buffet. The restaurant also features Charolais AOP meats, including burgers, ribeye steaks and entrecôtes... A special feature? "Customers can cook beef, chicken, pork and Charolais bulls directly on a lava stone. It's a big hit," says the team. The meal is accompanied by home-made fries and Burgundy wines. The daily menu is €20, AOP formulas are €28-33, and the Charollais menu is €33. Everything else is à la carte. When the weather's fine, customers can enjoy this exotic setting in a friendly, family atmosphere, comfortably seated on the terrace.
