Sponsored Five years ago, chef Eden Michel and Alexandre Mesnard set up shop in the heart of this 1910 institution, whose name they have kept. In a bistro-style atmosphere, they invite you to discover their authentic, entirely locavore cuisine. The meat is supplied by a nearby butcher and breeder, the fish by a Charente-Maritime fish auction, the vegetables from the Café des Sports kitchen garden or from a Charente market gardener - the examples are numerous. As numerous as the loyal followers of this intergenerational living space. For, as well as eating well (mimosa egg, mackerel rillette, rack of pork with barbecue sauce, brioche perdue, lemon meringue tart...), people come here to drink a glass of wine from the neighboring Saint-Sernin estate or to spend a good evening (event, concert, karaoke, match broadcast...); the owners organize these very regularly. In short, don't pass through La Rochefoucauld without stopping off at this café-bar-brasserie-party venue.
