Gourmet Restaurant You hesitate as you pass this little Moroccan bouchon on a rather dull street, brightened only by a mini-terrace on the sidewalk. Don't stop there. Come in, the pleasant surprise is inside. The smiling Meryem Chaouay Tissir, trained by Michel Roth at the Ritz, is multifunctional. She greets you, takes your order and, while chatting with her customers, rushes behind the bar to prepare a fusion cuisine that oscillates between family tradition and contemporary creations. Her dishes include veal tartare, granny-smith apple, spicy zucchini, cider vinegar, zucchini parsley with lemon and honey, tajine-style pulled beef on puffed rice sheets, hummus with green tapenade, anchovies and 24-month Parmesan yoghurt sauce; spring rolls made in Morocco, chicken, saffron rice, kefta and sweet soy sauce reduction, or veal aiguillettes marinated in ras el hanout, bissara cream with peas, cumin sauce and smoked paprika. And don't miss his revisited chicken pastilla, lemon confit and spinach herb tombée, onions confit with cinnamon, light orange blossom mousse. A festival of flavors!
