Gault&Millau's review 2025

Unquestionably one of Marseille's most chic and seductive venues! In place of the Richelieu, one of the city's historic hotels, this address inaugurated in 2019 combines everything we love: 19 rooms with balconies or terraces facing the sea, a delicious Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, a spa with Balinese massages and organic treatments by Susanne Kaufmann, an incredible rooftop with a swimming pool and a confidential bar where you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Mediterranean. The best part is the little staircase leading to a private beach, all in the heart of Marseille. We owe this magnificent nugget to the duo Frédéric Biousse and Guillaume Foucher, who, under the name Les Domaines de Fontenille, are building one of today's most desirable hotel collections.
