Sponsored Nestled between the ocean and the Arcachon Basin, Cabane 57 looks like the end of the world, with its grandiose view of the Dune du Pilat and Ile aux Oiseaux. A corner of paradise skilfully tended by Sylvie Latrille and her son, Louis, passionate oyster farmers whose work was rewarded at the last Concours Général Agricole. On the platter, the Basin oyster stands out for its perfect balance between iodized flavors and hints of hazelnut, salty and sweet. An impressively accurate oyster, a rare pearl, fleshy and crunchy, sublimated by the talent of these producers who love and know how to receive guests all year round in their authentic and elegant huts. Here, tourists mingle with regulars and friends in a relaxed, family atmosphere. Also on the menu: organic shrimps with homemade aioli, whelks with Espelette chilli pepper, pork pâté and some fine wines to accompany your waterfront tasting.
