Sponsored On the former Route Nationale 9, a stone's throw from the charming Romanesque church of Saint-Laurent de Châtel-de-Neuvre and the beach on the banks of the Allier, equidistant between Moulins and Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule, Béatrice Masson has chosen to combine "zenitude" with a passion for motorcycles. Since 2022, she has been living out her childhood dream of creating traditional French cuisine at the piano. Every day, with enthusiasm and inventiveness, she concocts small, comforting family dishes using seasonal vegetables: carbonade flamande, chicken in cider, pork sauté with olives, sliced chicken with chorizo cream, as well as eggs cocotte and Roman pizzas. Homemade ice creams, crêpes and fruit desserts of the moment round off the daily menus. Two terraces, one flower-filled at the front and the other covered at the back of the restaurant, offer magnificent views of the surrounding villages and the sumptuous Auvergne mountains.
