Chef's Restaurant Admittedly, some of the decor is starting to look a little dated, but you don't go all the way to Charroux to discover the latest trends in tableware. On the contrary, you're in for a good slice of gourmet pleasure provided by Valérie Saignie, who is celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of her establishment in 2024. Trained by Michel Bras and Reine Sammut, among others, she pays homage to a certain type of cuisine, one where people still know how to work a Duchambais sauce or serve a simple braised chicory compote with scallops. The prices make you smile (€29 for the attractive lunch menu).
