Gault&Millau's review2025
The name has changed, but Vincent Hoareau is still at the helm of the prefecture's most famous restaurant. Located on the main square, the place is contemporary and bright, with its granite-topped tables, steel suspensions and monochrome hues. The chef prepares a semi-gastronomic cuisine, calling on fine products and references, such as the rather original Romans raviole with tempura prawns, parmesan cream and baby greens, the famous Erquy scallops, served with risotto and chives, and an exemplary chocolate tarte sablée. Well-equipped cellar, with just under a hundred references from all over France (David Raynaud, Jean Foillard, Bernard Gripa, domaine des Bérioles, Vincent Girardin, Nicolas Rossignol...). Menu €39.
