Gourmet Restaurant Arnaud Ronxin's restaurant is nestled in Laguépie. The contemporary-style interior is decorated with modern paintings, and the tables covered in paint stains give it a singular identity. The address is often fully booked, attracting both passing tourists and those staying to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. At lunchtime, an attractive €25 three-course lunch menu is available. In the evening, a more elaborate menu offers two choices of starter and main course, always with a meat-free alternative. The ingredients are simple but well-crafted, resulting in gourmet dishes such as the kefta-like boulette paysanne, a spicy beet and onion emulsion served in generous proportions. For the main course, various pieces of Gilles's najac farmhouse poultry are accompanied by a risotto arborio and a lovely jus, without fuss, but very well executed. The sweet ice cream service deserves the same attention as the savory one. The wine list, proposed by Laure, reflects the spirit of the house: ultra-local, with some thirty references under €50. Charming service.
