Gault&Millau's review 2025

In the midst of the Gaillac vineyards, this 13th-century château once belonged to General d'Hautpoul before becoming the property of the Toulouse-Lautrec family. It has retained its high towers and surrounding wall, but today offers guests a rustic chic charm with 18 rooms and suites decorated with blond woodwork, designer furniture and lamps. Just a stone's throw away, a shaded swimming pool overlooks the surrounding fields and vineyards, perfect for laps after soothing and re-energizing treatments and massages at the Sothys spa. The final asset of this fine address is its gastronomic cuisine, which magnifies local recipes and products.
