Sponsored Hor Dago is Basque for "the carpet", in other words, the investment made for a good project. A well-chosen name for Brice Wiencek, who opened his restaurant with the challenge of launching a seaside establishment specializing in meat! At Hor Dago, every cut is selected from the finest European breeders. The menu features 19 breeds, 19 tastes and 19 ways of producing unique meat. "We mature everything on site, and prefer to cook it in the kamado, a Japanese barbecue: suckling pig and lamb, entrecôte, octopus (because that's the region), some local fish...and my favorite, the "Black Pearl" meat, fattened on beet for the last six months of its life!" says our manager, who can't stop talking about meat. Each piece has its own story, which the team tells you along with a wine list that enhances the tasting experience. As an accompaniment, pommes grenaille with a Basque pesto made from almonds and ewe's milk. An address 100% approved by butchers and tender carnivores alike! Open 7/7 in high season.
