One of Saint-Jean-de-Luz's top thalasso resorts. Fitness enthusiasts love the prestigious Thalasso & Spa Loreamar wellness center, with its indoor seawater pool, hammam, sensory sauna and whirlpool baths, backed by 20 cabins offering top-flight treatments in daily, 3- or 5-day programs. A paradise for the new generation of spa-goers, the Grand Hôtel is also the perfect refuge for lovers of subtle luxury rooted in the history of the place... Built at the end of the 19th century, this Empire-style edifice has preserved its coffered ceilings, cabochon marble and dark wooden grand staircase, which decorate the common areas. Featuring sleek furnishings and luxurious bedding, most of the 52 rooms and suites open out onto the ocean, with small balconies from which you can watch the waves roll in and out. The restaurant offer is as varied as it is refined, with a choice of dietetic and healthy menus or gourmet meals at Aho Fina, the table led by Jean-Christophe Burlaud, who offers cuisine with a Southwestern accent, concocted with the best local producers.
