Sponsored Quang Huy Nguyen and his wife, Tram, imagined their Vietnamese restaurant on Île Saint-Louis, in the heart of Paris, a stone's throw from Notre-Dame and City Hall, in a vintage setting reminiscent of the colorful grocery stores of their childhood. He is originally from Hanoi, and she from Hô Chi Minh-Ville. Both create authentic family recipes: nems with chicken, shrimp or vegetables, Bo bun with rice vermicelli accompanied by shrimp, chicken and vegetables, and finally the house's signature dish (for which the Chef won the gold medal at the Hanoi International Competition in 2019): Pho Bo, a beef bone broth-style soup, slow-cooked for 24 hours. The culinary delights offered by the restaurant couple are cooked daily to guarantee freshness. Step inside Hanoi 1988 and you'll experience a journey to Southeast Asia through the ambiance and smells. Quang Huy and Tram also welcome you to their second restaurant at 72 quai des Orfèvres, just a few steps away.
