Exceptional Hotel Ideally located on the banks of the Seine, between Notre-Dame, Bastille and the Marais district, this new hotel takes its place in the former administrative site of the Paris prefecture, reinvented by architect David Chipperfield and the agencies CALQ for the exterior architecture and RDAI for the interior spaces. "Imagined as a lighthouse illuminating the capital in a new light", according to the designers, the venue houses 162 rooms and suites with the allure of a timeless, luxurious Parisian interior. Located between the 7th and 14th floors of the building (which also includes offices and accommodation), all are enhanced by the play of colors, the nobility of materials and the most spectacular views of the capital. Equally refined, the Maison Codage spa features a hammam, a 20 m-long indoor pool and a high-tech fitness center spanning some 1,700 m2. Perfectly rejuvenated, guests then only have to go up to the 15th and 16th floors to invite themselves to Bonnie's (designed by the Paris Society group), the beating heart of the hotel, combining restaurant, bar and club in a gourmet and festive atmosphere. Not to mention a 360° terrace to admire the city lights. Last but not least, we'd like to mention the numerous works of art on the floors, including the ultimate in immersive art: a room designed by star artist Olafur Eliasson, who has installed giant kaleidoscopes and a horizontal mirror plane to capture the changing reflections of the waters of the Seine. In short, it's a no-brainer for the Ennismore hotel group, which has signed the first address for the SO/ collection in France.
