Description
Sponsored Gertrude is Emeline and Elodie's great-aunt. So this restaurant, located in Compiègne's oldest building, is a nod to her love of cooking. Since February 2024, the two young women have opened their own restaurant, following their respective experiences in a number of establishments. Emeline is in the kitchen, Elodie in the dining room and at the bar. In practice, the two young women help each other out. On the menu: dishes with a Northern accent, but all revisited with an innovative touch. Andouillette au gratin with maroilles, croque-monsieur with truffles, crème brûlée with chicory, beet carpaccio, roast maroilles, not forgetting vegetarian dishes... Enough to surprise your palate! Simple, tasty, home-style, with a taste of childhood that's sure to please. You can also enjoy one of Elodie's many secret cocktails, or a fine glass of wine, with an emphasis on vintages from the central region. And don't forget: the team is selling t-shirts, caps and sweatshirts for the benefit of the SPA.
