Gault&Millau's review 2025

In a small village just a stone's throw from the Chantilly forest, this beautiful country house is owned by the very British Clare Howarth, who is passionate about nature and decoration, and has decided to open her refuge to visiting guests. She has created two delightful bedrooms with spacious rooms and Scandinavian-style design, as well as L'Atelier - a 60 m2 loft with its own entrance and kitchen area, overlooking the wisteria-filled garden. You can choose to be completely independent, but it's hard to resist Clare's warm table d'hôtes, concocted in her wide-open kitchen. And above all, her delicious Franco-British breakfasts, with homemade pastries and bread fresh from the oven...
