On a hillside opposite the village, on the road to Méounes, the recently acquired Domaine du Baguier (same owner as Baratonne et Maguise) has acquired a handsome contemporary restaurant and the services of Mathias Dandine, our Gault&Millau d'Or 2024, to design the menu. This is good news for the area, which is rather lacking in quality restaurants, even if the high prices for what is still a modest service are a bit of a deterrent. The foie gras is correct, as are the pieds paquets, in a cuisine that blends regionalism with contemporary ideas (vol au vent snails, puff pastry with green sauce, hare à la royale with vegetables of the moment...). Classic desserts, in-house wine cellar enlarged with a short selection of wines from other regions. Expensive, but with good references (Julien Pilon, L'Hortus...).
