Gault&Millau's review2025
Celebrated in Jean-Luc Godard's film "Pierrot le fou", this historic hotel has come back to life after a long eclipse, thanks to the couple Lisa & David Pirone and their creative energy. Anxious to preserve the soul of the place, they have preserved the beautiful white façade and lagoon-blue sign while reinventing the spirit of the 14 rooms, each entrusted to a young designer celebrated by the Design Parade festival organized each year by the nearby Villa Noailles. The result is as delightful as it is eclectic: one room designed as a boat cabin; another as a Greek house; yet another colonized by an immense ceramic fresco... Only the prospect of joining the La Reine Jane restaurant (Wednesday to Saturday evenings) or the 200 m2 roof terrace (during the summer) with its 360° view over the waves and the pine forest makes you want to leave these refuges, as comfortable as they are cheerful!
