Sponsored Behind the façade of this Vietnamese restaurant, just a stone's throw from the harbor, lies a treasure trove of multi-flavored cuisine, a favorite among gourmets. Many make the detour to dine here. A special mention for the specialties of Monsieur HO, from a family of restaurateurs, who is celebrating 25 years of Daï Long. Phô soup with its long-simmered broth, bánh cuon (steamed spring rolls), hot-plate-cooked Lôc Lac beef with its secret marinating time and lime sauce, and Cantonese rice (with duck croutons or shrimp) are all delicious. "We cook everything fresh, using fish from the Thau lagoon and respecting the traditional recipes handed down by my mother", explains Mr HO, recalling his first steps in the dishwasher many years ago. Prices are moderate for such refined dishes, which reflect a perfect mastery of cooking and the use of spices and herbs. Service is attentive, as evidenced by the fireplace in winter. Don't forget to book!
