Gault&Millau's review 2025

Built in the 19th century in the midst of the Languedoc vineyards, this château has undergone a veritable renaissance under the impetus of Karl O'Hanlon, the new owner, who has completely redesigned it to offer his guests a luxurious retreat in osmosis with nature. The estate now comprises 8 rooms in the château and 36 private residences in the outbuildings, all set in 96 hectares of parkland combining vineyards and garrigue. Raw materials, clean lines and vintage furnishings give the villas the feel of a warm and refined family home, with kitchen areas extending onto terraces and, in some cases, private swimming pools. As for the panoramic terrace, it boasts breathtaking views, perfect for discovering the restaurant's marvellous cuisine, after a stopover at the chic Cinq Mondes spa.
