Gault&Millau's review2025
In the business district, this contemporary restaurant with its high ceilings, raw concrete, bay windows and terrace facing the lake is co-managed by Pierre Weller of La Source des Sens, Morsbronn-les-Bains, and Olivier Kennel, who works in the dining room. Created by Yoann Gonzalez, the young, emancipated cuisine attracts customers from the surrounding offices at lunchtime, and couples and families in the evening with its smart menu. We tried the crab rolls with their tasty condiment, but accompanied by a slightly bland herb coulis. The skrei, simply remarkable, confit at low temperature, melts in the mouth. It is presented in the form of beautiful rouelles with elegant plural carrots and a virgin of clementines, which we expected to be more gourmet. The meringue shell, topped with a delicious vanilla mascarpone cream and citrus fruit supremes, rests on a matcha tea financial cookie, which is not baked à la minute. The little touches are numerous: a cold white asparagus soup whose vegetable flavor is difficult to perceive, a veal tartare for which we would have liked a more pronounced seasoning. The crunchy cone of hummus with apple gel and smoked eel is undoubtedly the most interesting amuse-bouche. We also enjoyed the pre-dessert with mango and vanilla. The first menu at €34, offered every evening, even on Saturdays, is a real nugget.
